About Lydia Wolfe
I have graduated from UNLV on December 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts focused in Anthropology with a minor in American Indian and Indigenous Studies, I have done two years of enthobotancial research examining macrobotanical remains to determine the subsistence patterns of Ancestral Puebloans in the Great Basin Region. Alongside this, I continue to volunteer with IndigenousAF, a non profit in Las Vegas that teaches people about Indigenous culture, creates community with allies and friends, and holds events that are free and open to the public to create community within Las Vegas. Currently I work full-time at Get Outdoors Nevada as a Volunteer Program Coordinator helping to organize park and trail cleanups, occasionally helping on field trips for youth in Las Vegas. For future prospects I aim to continue education in anthropology focusing on ethnographic field methods and pursue a career in the Forestry Services, Cultural Resource Management, or other related career fields.
