I’m a recent journalism and mass communication graduate with a minor in political science, seeking legal field experience as I prepare for law school within the next two years. At GW, I honed my writing and reporting skills and developed a strong understanding of free speech and First Amendment rights. Through internships with Transitions (Prague), CZK, and The American Prospect (DC), I’ve witnessed the critical role of independent media—an experience that fuels my passion for defending it through law. My roles as a public affairs intern at MnDOT and as an administrative assistant have given me strong organizational and communication skills. As an editorial intern, I gained experience researching and reporting on complex social issues with accuracy and efficiency. Studying abroad deepened my cross-cultural communication skills—an asset in any professional setting. These experiences have shaped me into a detail-oriented communicator eager to apply my skills in the legal field.
