About Lydie Specque

Lydie is an autonomous Managing Director with over 20 years experience leading entities licensed and supervised by the French regulator ACPR (Payment Institutions, Electronic Money Institutions, Credit Institutions / Banks) in both Retail and Digital environments. She has a strong background in business development with financial institutions in international environments: as Regional VP launching the Western Union service in 45 African countries, as the CEO of a stand-alone joint venture between La Banque Postale and Western Union, or as the Chief Representative for EMEA at National Bank of Canada. More recently she has held various general management roles in Fintechs. As an entrepreneurial executive Lydie has the ability to lead in complex, multicultural and fast-changing environments, from French subsidiaries of international corporates to start-ups. Result and client oriented she enjoys moving a business to the next stage, leading organizational change and mobilizing stakeholders from various backgrounds, with the ultimate goal to create sustainable value for all parties. Native French, Lydie also speaks fluent English and holds a master’s in business administration and completed the International Executive Program from Insead.
