I graduated Magna Cum Laude in Psychology from Liberty University, then attended Northwestern Theological Seminary for my MSW and PhD in Pastoral Counseling. I am a member of Psi Chi, the national honor society for Psychology. I am a Florida Board-Certified Addictions Professional (CAP); Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC); Certified Master's Mental Health Coach (Light University), Certified Health Coach (Villanova College of Nursing); an Approved Training Provider through the Florida Certification Board; ICISF Approved Instructor; member, Florida Association and National Association of Drug Court Professionals. I served for several years as the Chair of the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR), Board Member with the Alliance for Addiction Solutions (AAS). and a member of the Treasure Coast CISM Team and BOD.I have assisted many in the addiction treatment field to improve their professionalism and gain board certification, guided several organizations in the process to obtain licensure and accreditation, and helped to establish several successful treatment centers in 5 different states. I have numerous peer-reviewed research articles, many involving research with Dr. Kenneth Blum on the genetic links to Reward Deficiency Syndrome and neuro-nutrient solutions to neurotransmitter balance.I have extensive experience as CEO, Owner and Executive Director of residential substance abuse treatment centers in Florida, with over 20 years of experience working with veterans and first responders, and served on the board of several homeless coalitions and other community organizations. I've worked extensively with the homeless, addicted, mentally ill, sexually abused, and persons with disabilities. I am Pastor of the Recovery Church Treasure Coast - PSL, President of Mont Sinai Ministries Bayonnais, where we provide services to those in need in Haiti and have helped locals receive an education, clean water, & medical services since early 2010. I am the former Dean of the Treasure Coast Campus of Covenant Bible College & Seminary, have served as President of my Rotary club and the Rotary District 6930 International Projects Chair, DEI Chair, and Assistant Governor. I am a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Paul Harris Society member, and an ordained pastor and law enforcement chaplain. My passion is to help others obtain a better life.
