Background
About Lyle West
I’ve proudly been part of the radio family in Grande Prairie since 1990, when I kicked off my journey as the evening announcer on CJXX. Today, I’m the longtime Morning Show Host and Program Director at Big Country 93.1 FM—Grande Prairie’s market leader—and I also serve as the Non-Metro Country Network Music Director for Pattison Media. Over the years, I’ve worn just about every hat in programming and promotions, and I deeply value the vital role Sales and customer service play in our success. I’ve helped guide Big Country to major milestones, including our CCMA Station of the Year win in 2014, and I’ve proudly grown our streaming audience to record levels year after year. I’m reliable, positive, people-focused, and fully committed to the success of our team and our brands. Whether it’s leading on-air, supporting colleagues, or lending my voice as a freelance voice talent from my home studio—I’m all in.
