About Lyn Riverstone

I’m currently an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer working at Turnitin, on the Gradescope team-the best team ever! Through cross-functional collaboration, I support pre-sales efforts for SaaS solution selling to higher education institutions in North America, identify and interpret complex needs and requirements of prospects, create and deliver bespoke product demonstrations that highlight how Gradescope uniquely solves the challenges institutions face with improving teaching and learning processes, manage proof of concept projects, and contribute to blog posts, white papers, conferences, webinars, and user panel discussions, and more. My current work relies on my strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical knowledge, which I honed through a career in mathematics teaching and a Masters's degree in mathematics at Oregon State University. Throughout my career, I gravitated toward roles with increasing responsibility, serving as a course coordinator, academic advisor, math placement coordinator, interim Assistant Dean and Associate Director of Professional Development Integration for the OSU College of Science Dean's Office. My passion for employing technology that improves the work and lives of users, lead me to my next role on the Learning Platform Services team at OSU. Previous to coming to Turnitin, I worked as a Product Manager for several enterprise platforms used to support in-person and remote teaching and learning. I lead campus-wide training and support initiatives on instructional technology, delivered user consultations on effective strategies for using classroom technologies, wrote and maintained Knowledge Base articles, and collaborated with my teammates to manage user support requests through a ticketing system.
