I am a business event planning professional with 30+ years experience in the corporate, not for profit, association and third party arenas. Currently I am the Manager, Member Experience/Events at the Ontario Nurses' Association curating event content and logistics planning creating empowering member experience. As a business events industry professional giving back to an industry that has been very good to me, I have served in the capacity of past Board of Directors Chairperson of the Business Events Coalition of Canada (BEICC) now Meetings Mean Business Canada, Vice President, External Relations for Meeting Professionals International Toronto Chapter and Regional Director - Canada for Senior Planner Industry Network (SPIN). One of my goals is to continually update my skill set to ensure that I am providing as much expertise and strategic planning capability to my stakeholders as possible. Therefore I have achieved my CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) and my CMM (Certification in Meeting Management)- both globally recognized industry designations and was named a SPIN 40 over 40 recipient. Continuous learning keeps me on my toes and refreshes my love for the business event planning industry.
