About Lyndsay Rayner

A profound love and appreciation for the natural world has inspired both my professional career and life outside of work. With a genuine green thumb, I take immense joy in nurturing and facilitating the growth of plants. I do this both on a small-scale urban homestead, as well as on a larger commercial level as the Greenhouse Technician at Wild + Pine. I am thrilled to contribute my interests and skills to a company whose environmental and sustainability values align with my own. During my university years, I delved into several research projects surrounding ecology, and more specifically plant growth responses. I honed my analytical skills and gained a strong understanding for the importance of unbiased and robust research design. As a bonus to standard biology classes, I was also fortunate enough to gain practical, hands-on experience conducting research in places as varied as the agricultural fields of central Alberta, to the tropical rainforests of Ecuador. When not immersed in the innovative environment of Wild + Pine’s Bioprism Advance Vertical Greenhouse, you can find me searching racks at a local thrift store, or getting purposely lost in the woods searching for mushrooms and other interesting fungal relatives.
