About Lyndsey Rees

Having gained employment as a support worker working for a non-profit organisation that works with people with learning disabilities and is passionate about changing the UK for them to live happy and healthy lives, I advanced to my dream job to become a service manager in a supported living setting. One of my biggest achievements was completing my Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services, whilst managing a service with 590 support hours, to provide support for four individuals with profound learning and physical needs as well as caring for my baby daughter and my other children and managing family life. What I loved most about my role was the positive influence it could have on others, ensuing quality control was achieved, training was up to date and competence attained, person centred support for each individual, realisations of objectives and goals, whether big or small, developing the staff team to enable the above to happen. People and their well-being are at the heart of all these things, clients, family and staff. It was my interest in the health aspect of supporting individuals gained during my role as manager that sparked my change of heart and inspired my journey to an holistic approach to health and well-being. I have a VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies and a VTCT level 3 Certificate in Indian Head Massage. I have a good understanding of the human body making me a skilful therapist. I have a great sense of fulfilment helping others achieve their best health and happiness. I am a member of the federation of holistic therapists and I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development. this includes registering with the Massage Training Institute and studying their holistic massage diploma. I love what I do, offer a wide range of modalities, therapeutic massage techniques, deep tissue and trigger points, I combine remedial and holistic skills to provide a rounded, client- centred approach to bodywork, aromatherapy including massage, lymphatic drainage reflexology and Indian head Massage. I specialise in tailored treatments to individuals with a variety of health issues and from all walks of life to address specific concerns to promote relaxation and healing. I have a warm compassionate demeanour and create a comfortable and rejuvenating experience at my clinic. Prior booking and deposit is required to confirm availability. I also offer a mobile treatment service in the comfort of your own home, for an additional fee, specifications to be discussed at time of booking.
