I have extensive experience in public sector positions, with a 37 year career in health, community services and multicultural roles. I have held leadership roles in a range of public sector areas including service delivery, community engagement, community grants and policy development. I have qualifications in nursing, social work and public sector management. I have executive experience in aged care, disability care, community sector development, strategy and program development, community grants, contract management and family support programs. I have led multi disciplinary and multicultural teams in both government and non government agencies. I have worked in hospital, community based, non government, large government departments and regional area government settings. Specialties: Leading cohesive, high achieving teams and encouraging organisational approaches that foster collaboration and solutions for complex problems in the community and health sectors. Leadership in negotiating outcomes for community sector funding, in a resource restricted environment with a large number of funding requests. Developing a culture that recognises the skills of people, maximising outcomes within available resources.
