As a certified esthetician with extensive experience, I have continually expanded my qualifications and understand the critical role that ongoing education and training play in our industry. My journey began in Scotland, where I honed my skills at a Clarins Gold Salon, contributing to business growth and assisting in the training of new employees. Since transitioning into education in 2013, I have had the privilege of serving as faculty at institutions including Durham College, Seneca Polytechnic, and Bryan College while maintaining an active presence in the industry. In addition to instructing aspiring estheticians, I have been actively involved in curriculum development and program enhancement. There is an undeniable need for comprehensive, high-quality training within the esthetics world, with the widespread exposure to various social media influences and increasing awareness of risks associated with underqualified practitioners. My passion extends beyond the traditional notion of beauty—esthetic professionals play an essential role in promoting wellness and supporting a healthy lifestyle.
