About Lynn Kincade

My passion is leveraging technology to give the most value to the business, the people and the community. I bring a breadth of experience from analyst to CIO, strategist to marketer. My work in eight different countries helps me understand different cultures, communities and what is important to them. Blending people and technology to benefit each client in a practical and pragmatic way is what I bring to each conversation - whether it is in assuring projects, developing an investment story, or facilitating and change discussions across divisions, department, businesses and communities. It all starts with the idea. I have worked with companies across Australia to consider the problem they are looking to solve, rather than how to shoe-horn a solution into a company or personal agenda. Through facilitated workshops and structured methodologies such as Investment Logic Mapping, divisions across an organisation have come together to form a common understanding of the issue, the benefits they hope to achieve, and how they can go about it.#ILM It is an easy step from the ILM to helping organisations put together a strategy to achieve their short term and long term vision expedited by smart, and viable, technology. I have worked with small and large organisations across the world to develop pragmatic strategies that deliver results and value to the business.#strategicplanning But the best strategy is worthless if the projects or initiatives to deliver that strategy cannot be completed. Having completed well over 130 assurance reviews, I have worked with programs and projects to identify areas that could be improved to help the project be successful, and mitigate the risks that would make it fail.#assurance Finally, none of this can be done without a strong and empathetic understanding of change, and how it affects each of us in our daily work and the activities that we complete. But this takes time. In my last role as CIO we undertook a serious change journey that resulted in not only uplifting our performance, but the satisfaction of my staff and the satisfaction of the people that we were supporting.#changemangaement So let's start a conversation.
