About Lynn Leong

As the Brooks G Ragen Director of Squash and Head Coach for Yale University’s women’s and men’s squash teams, I am deeply committed to the sport and dedicated to nurturing talent at all levels. My journey began in Malaysia, where I competed as a top junior and national player, experiences that instilled in me resilience and discipline.Before joining Yale, I spent ten years as the Head Squash Pro at the New Haven Lawn Club, where I developed my coaching approach, emphasizing player growth and excellence. I am honored to be the first woman to helm both the men’s and women’s teams at Yale, a role that allows me to advocate for equality in sports.My focus extends beyond technical skill development to fostering a holistic environment where athletes thrive academically and personally. Under my guidance, teams have achieved significant successes, reinforcing values of teamwork and sportsmanship.I enjoy working in dynamic settings, always eager to learn and contribute to the advancement of squash. I look forward to connecting with like-minded individuals passionate about promoting excellence in sports and beyond.
