About Lynn Mizen

An experienced Senior Project Manager who possesses strong customer relationship and team leadership skills. I have over 12 years experience in the IT Industry across a range of industries including telecommunications, mining, retail, transport and government. My technical skills have been strengthened and complemented by relationship skills gained through my work with Victorian communities with a post graduate qualification in community engagement. I commenced my career in IT whilst in the Australian Army, where she spent four years as an Operator in Information Systems and Cipher. Career highlights consist of leading large project teams on well recognised projects in the UK including the Metroline IRIS project. This project saw London’s first installation of a bus global positioning satellite tracking system and new bus control centre which won the UK National and London Transport Awards for Technology. I have also worked in Local Government delivering small towns capital works projects and leading community engagement and planning activities. I gained recognition for developing a model of community engagement that has had significant success in re-engaging Victorian communities. Worked with BHP Billiton on the 1SAP project based in Singapore as Deployment Coordinator supporting the R2b HR and payroll release including eleven country payrolls and HR processes spanning employees. My goal is to continue to continue to deliver projects and promote good project management skills and processes in both the private and public sector.
