About Lynn P.

There are two things I love in this world: people and places. 19 years ago, on a bit of a whim, I combined these loves by traveling the world teaching English, meeting people from different countries, and experiencing cultures in a way that holiday travel never could. After 10 years of teaching, I decided to try something different. On another whim, I earned an MBA in Prague, a city that had always been on my bucket list, and transitioned into marketing. There, I found a job in the geospatial and mobile mapping industry, which blends my two passions: people and places. These industries allow me to learn about diverse location-based technologies, travel to new places through customer visits and events, and meet new people every day. I never imagined I’d get into business or sales but I used to consider it a diabolical field). But I soon realized it’s all about customer care—understanding issues, offering solutions, and providing ongoing support. Mosaic has been an incredible place to work, helping me grow and learn so much in nearly five years. And I still have much to learn from my coworkers, customers, and colleagues in the industry. At a startup, you wear many hats. I run marketing activities and oversee nearly everything that goes out into the world—sometimes a daunting thought. In sales, I directly engage with customers throughout the pre- and post-sales process. I’m also growing both our sales and marketing teams, bringing in experienced professionals from diverse backgrounds. It's really exciting to get to grow personally and help build the team behind a company that I feel very strongly about and care very deeply about.
