I am a scientist with a solid foundation in research, epidemiologic and statistical methodology combined with real-world practical experience in leading teams in the execution of research and quality initiatives. My career over the past 15 years has largely involved research, public health and teaching and through my varied experiences I have learned that this is my passion. • PhD in Public Health, majoring in Epidemiology and minoring in Biostatistics• Over fifteen years of management experience, including budgeting and supervision of employees, in clinical research and healthcare operations• Detailed knowledge of human subject research regulations, Institutional Review Board operations, CITI certified since 2005• 30 peer-reviewed publications of research studies covering a variety of topics and study designs • Experienced with advanced statistical analysis including longitudinal analyses, propensity scoring, multivariate modeling, complex survey data, multiple imputation of missing data• Online teaching as a dissertation advisor with the University of Liverpool, England, working with students from Africa and the Middle East and covering public health topics of significance to those geographic areas (e.g, infectious diseases, contraception, anemia, obesity)• Member of OhioHealth Research Committee, conducting reviews of proposed research protocols• Experienced in clinical operations management in the healthcare setting, providing me with an understanding of clinical workflows and issues that affect the quality of administrative clinical data• Teaching Appreciation Award, Riverside Methodist Hospital Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, 2002 and 2012• Member of several Institutional Review Boards • Open to accepting new tasks and challenges• Ability to work from home, connect with others online and meet deadlines• Exceptional written and oral communication skills• Flexible, with continual learning approach
