About Lynne Beck

My lifelong interest in the arts and education inspired in me a passion for helping people and organizations flourish in an ever-changing funding landscape. I continue to find my greatest satisfaction in building relationships and connections that help people obtain the resources they need to succeed. I have a reputation for my extensive knowledge and experience in the funding community. I also have demonstrated skills in communication: public speaking, writing, negotiating, and training. I currently work part-time as Senior Grant Writer for COMPAS (Community Programs in the Arts) and as grantwritng consultant for Park Square Theatre in St. Paul, Minnesota. I was the Development Director at COMPAS for 15 years and an independent development consultant prior to joining the COMPAS staff. In addition, I frequently serve on grant review panels for the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board, attend fundraising workshops and seminars, help plan special events, and advocate for the arts at the MInnesota State Capitol (including serving as Team Leader for groups).
