About Lynne E.

As the Director of People, Culture & Legal Communications at NiSource, I oversee internal and external communications for the Human Resources and Legal departments, as well as strategic communications plans that align with the company's vision, mission and values. Since joining NiSource in August 2021, I oversaw the development and execution of various communications strategies for companywide transformation projects including NiSource’s recent business strategy refresh and the 2023 and 2024 Annual Reports. Prior to NiSource, I worked for various Fortune 500 and 200 companies including Bayer, Mylan N.V. and PPG Industries. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Professional Communications from the University of Pittsburgh, where I also earned certificates in Corporate & Community Relations and Public Health. Additionally, I hold a certificate in Crisis/Change Communications from Cornell University, which has equipped me with the skills to handle complex communication challenges. My passion is to create and deliver impactful messages that inspire and inform stakeholders, while fostering a culture of transparency, inclusivity and collaboration.
