Have more than 10 years of management, technical, research, project management and teaching experience in environmental management, climate change, sustainable development, natural resources management, forestry and community-based natural resource management including teaching experience at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels both in Canada and Bangladesh. • Has gathered and accumulated extensive research experience as team leader and or member of research team of national, regional and international research program. • As a project director, principal investigator and team member served in different socio-economic, environment and natural resource management, and sustainable development related projects sponsored by USAID, UNDP, SIDA, IDRC and SSHRC Canada. Positions I hold required the skills of strong leadership, clear conceptual background, organizing capability, analytical skills, negotiating and problem solving skills. • Work experience as a Team Associate in the United Nations Development Programs Mid-Term evaluation on environment, climate change, energy and natural resource portfolios in Bangladesh • Experienced in teaching and supervising thesis at the undergraduate and graduate level • Authored, edited or co-authored 29 publications on environmental management, policy, climate change, forestry & natural resources management. • Has attended participated in numerous professional workshops, conferences, seminars and meetings at national, regional and global levels on environmental management and protection, climate change, and natural resource management • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills • Excellent interpersonal skills in communication and office etiquette • Excellent leadership, good judgment, fast and conflict resolution and good negotiation skills with different stakeholders • Collaborative team player and able to work independently with little or no supervision.
