About M. Umar Farook

As an Electrical Engineer Apprentice at VISAKHAPATNAM STEEL PLANT, I am learning and applying the skills of programmable logic controller (PLC), Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel in the production and maintenance of steel products. I am part of a team that ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the plant's machinery and equipment, using PLC to monitor, control, and troubleshoot various processes and systems. I also use Microsoft Office and Excel to create, manage, and analyze data and reports related to the plant's performance and quality standards. I have a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Mahendra College of Engineering, where I gained a solid foundation in the principles and applications of electrical and electronics engineering. I completed several projects and assignments that involved designing, developing, and testing electrical and electronic circuits, devices, and systems, using software tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, and PSpice. My goal is to become a professional engineer who can design, develop, and implement innovative and sustainable solutions for the industrial and social challenges in the field of electrical and electronics engineering. I am passionate about learning new technologies, enhancing my technical and interpersonal skills, and contributing to the growth and development of the steel industry.
