The Business Line Water & Climate (approx. 150 persons) consist of well-connected teams in the field of water, the underground and environment. The joint specialists work on the water and energy transition, via research, consultancy and engineering projects. Topics are e.g. resilient surface water systems and urban water systems (stormwater, sewage, urban geohydrology), drought, land subsidence, water safety and security, clean soils, geotechnical engineering, stakeholder management and advanced digitalization. Our teams are committed in treating water, soil and underground systems with care, safeguarding their crucial and valuable functions for environment and society. The complex conditions with water surpluses and water shortages in a small, often vulnerable, area with multiple stakeholders demand creative / sustainable use of (multiple) water and soil. This complexity encourages us in finding practical solutions for big problems. We help individual land owners up to national governments, and create synergy between organizations.* Dareius embodies Aveco de Bondt’s international water programme. To support our clients with integrated digital solutions, we teamed up with Wings ICT Solutions and Tethys Consulting in setting up diTTo engineering.* As a board member of the SamSamWater foundation I support water related projects in developing countries. The main purpose of the foundation is to make hydro info available to everyone.* As an expert at the knowledge institute KBF (Kenniscentrum Bodemdaling en Funderingen) and NAFO I support knowledge networks and the exchange of solid knowledge (on behalf of Aveco de Bondt).* Member Community Water of NLIngenieurs * Regurarly sharing knowledge widely via national and local media and professional journals.
