DevOps engineer with a broad knowledge ranging from Kubernetes to Linux to Windows, VMware to HyperV, Powershell to Bash and Json to Yaml and lots of devops tools available. Currently i am the tech lead for the Kubernetes platform enabling our company to rollout their self developed applications quickly and reliable in our Azure cloud environment and our vessels. The techniques we used for this include but is not limited to - Azure AKS - Nginx - Postgres/Postgis - Postgres EDB cloud native operator - ci/cd tooling like Jenkins and Circleci. github actions - Rancher - VMware Vcenter - Confluent Kafka - Elasticsearch - Ansible - Terraform - Argocd - Crossplane In the past i have been responsible for the installation of rugged IT infrastructure solutions on remote project locations (worldwide) for sites and vessels ranging anywhere from 20 to 200 people. This includes but is not limited to the installation of - Network (Cisco switching and Routing/Meraki)- Servers HP proliant Dell VRTX - ESXi - Firewall and VPN using either checkpoint or Meraki equipment- CCTV - Printing - Cabling - Wireless - VSAT Also i guided the Integration of the IT landscape from acquired companies with ours in the UK and Spain. This includes but is not limited to - Inventory of business demands - Integration and migration of business applications - Integration of telephony in the central VOIP environment I have a good command of the Dutch and English language.
