Hey there, I'm Maayan, a quantitative user researcher with 4 years of experience under my belt. My journey into this field began with my Master's degree in Social (Experimental) Psychology and Data Science from Ben-Gurion University. My thesis research focused on predicting romantic relationship satisfaction by analyzing text, using natural language processing and machine learning methods. Fast forward to today, as a quant. UX researcher, I'm using all the tools in my arsenal, like surveys and statistical analysis, to understand players' behavior, preferences, and satisfaction with our games. My goal is to create a personalized, user-centered experience that's not only enjoyable, but downright magical. I work closely with cross-functional teams like our game studio and marketing, to make sure our players' voices are heard at every stage of the game's life cycle. What sets me apart from others in this field is my ability to not only conduct quantitative research, but to also make data-driven decisions that improve the user experience. I have a deep understanding of human psychology, and I know how to combine different data sources to get a broader understanding of player behavior and preferences.
