About Mabel Ang

Working closely with our clients in the Asset and Wealth Management industry in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region, my expertise lie in the alternatives space, in particular hedge funds and private equity fund managers licensed and/or registered with the MAS, including new managers who are looking to set up a presence here in Singapore.My career thus far has led me to many different parts of the world, having gained more than 10 years of international experience in various major financial services hubs including New York, Hong Kong and Sydney. During this time, much of it has been spent building my skillsets in the areas of audit, attestation, internal controls reporting and advisory projects for hedge funds, private equity funds, QFII/RQFII funds, management companies including SFC regulated entities, as well as developing and leading training programmes for our Asset Management industry teams in various locations. I served a 3-year rotation as the Asset Management resident in the National Accounting (Professional Practice) office while in New York, and part-time in Asia Pacific's Professional Practice group specialising in asset management technical matters in Hong Kong. I am a frequent speaker at various fund administrators events in Singapore and Hong Kong on fund accounting issues under US GAAP and IFRS.
