About Mabel Chigbo

I am Mabel Chigbo, a results-driven Electrical Engineering graduate with hands-on experience in both industrial and power transmission environments. My academic journey has equipped me with expertise in power systems, electrical machines, and emerging technologies, which I aim to apply in both academic and industry settings. In 2023, i started a job as an electrical engineer at ABC polymers limited, Kano. Where i participated in Maintaining and repairing electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted polymer production processes. Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on motors, control panels, and production equipment. Monitoring energy consumption and suggested improvements to reduce energy costs, and Ensuring compliance with safety standards and implemented measures to minimize electrical hazards. In 2021, I enrolled for an industrial training at Transmission company of Nigeria, Awada-Obosi, Onitsha, Nigeria. There, I joined a team of engineers to carry out daily and annual maintenance on the transformers and circuit breakers, assisted with projects by applying strong analytical skills, completed research, compiled data, and assisted with timely report. In addition to exploring professional opportunities, I am also open to pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. My research interests lie in areas such as energy systems, electric vehicle technology, sustainable energy solutions, and advanced control systems.
