About Mac Tucker

I'm passionate about developing relationships over genuine, meaningful conversation. Engaging with others about those topics and quickly seeing what we have to learn from one another is my thing. As a kid, my parents talked to me like an adult. When I joined the Navy after high school, we furthered my family's tradition of keeping communications direct and meaningful. Since graduating college I have worked in fitness and massage where I engage with people about their most intimate insecurities, injuries, and self-doubts; it is only by being a great listener that one can be a great health professional. I dedicate more attention to active listening and client feedback than I do on the technical aspects. Outside of my fitness career, I teach swimming and water safety to kids 6mos-12yrs old. My burning passion though, is coaching basketball (U-16). Moonlighting as a teacher and coach give me more opportunities to engage with the community and ultimately help them achieve a goal (or goals). I am a pop culture fanatic, sports obsessor, and an avid traveler. Most importantly, I'm human-which means there's absolutely something I have in common with you. There is virtually nothing we cannot find in common with one another-if only we dedicate the time to listen to one another. Meaningful conversation can be had with anyone. Incorporating that philosophy into my professional pursuits is how I've been successful thus far. We need only to talk for you to see.
