I’ve been fortunate to work on some amazing projects at the world’s leading live-action, broadcast, and 2D & 3D animation studios doing what I love for the past 15 years. My gift is in balancing and blending the technical work and creative processes vital to matching directors’ visions. And, while my skills in the visual, sound and creative design space have taken me internationally, today I’m North American-based, working on both sides of the USA and Canadian border thanks to my dual residency credentials. I’ve experienced the scrutiny and fast pace of VFX (seriously, kudos to those thriving in this niche), on more than one occasion, have developed the 20+ variations it takes to get the perfect promotional asset for a 60-second reel, de-coded massive kinks in a final editing file touched by a handful of outsourced studios (talk about too many cooks in the kitchen), hosted my very own Hollywood Sound Design training session in Dubai to introduce and influence better production practices to the region, and leaned into the skills I had and learned on the job when there was no one to lean on in start-up environments. My passion for production is fueled by more outside the studio than most might guess. You’ll find me working on an art project, listening to the latest Drum and Bass, connecting on Discord with my childhood friends and playing the latest FPS games, trying a new recipe I discovered on YouTube to impress my food-loving daughter, making a coffee run for my coffee obsessed wife, getting some cuddles from my ginger cat Rocco in one hand and white Persian Boo in the other, and venturing outdoors for an afternoon of frisbee in the park, hike up a trail, and swim in the lake.
