About MacGregor Buckley

As a Data Scientist, I am passionate about applying AI and Machine Learning to solve real-world problems and create innovative solutions. I have a strong foundation in Data Science, having completed a Bachelor of Information Technology with a major in Data Science from Macquarie University in 2021. I have hands-on experience in developing Computer Vision programs using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and various ML algorithms, such as YOLO and Mask-RCNN, for vehicle tracking, object detection, and segmentation. I worked as a Graduate Data Scientist at NTRO, where I drove the development of these programs and authored a research paper on AI/ML applications in transport. I also led a team of interns in creating an advanced object detection model and a user-facing web app, using Azure for cloud computing, when I interned at EY. I am skilled in Data Analytics, Database Development, and Cloud Computing, and I have used these skills to conduct statistical analysis of vehicle speed data and provide actionable insights. I am eager to use my skills and expertise to find solutions to everyday problems and make efficiency gains using AI and Video Analytics. I am always keen to learn new technologies and methods, and to collaborate with others in the field. I am looking for opportunities that will challenge me and allow me to grow as a Data Scientist.
