About MacHelle Bailey

As the current Social Media Liaison for Prince William County Police Department I am completely dedicated to promoting and enhancing positive police-community relations through Social Media networks. Currently, I maintain the Department’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts. My position also includes mining of social media. This effort requires I note and address discrepancies of persons of concern that I locate through networks or suspects that police officers may request comprehensive background reports for. Throughout my law enforcement career I have represented the Department on numerous occasions as a presenter on topics such as Critical Incident Stress Management, Dispatching, Analytics, Drug Trends, LInX and Social Media. The groups include in-house, local, state, and federal agencies like roll call, citizen police academies, IACP, and ATF. I present social media to the National Academy in Quantico, VA on a quarterly basis.
