About Maci Arjes

I am currently a senior majoring in Business Management on the HR track as well as minoring in Political Science at the University of Iowa. I was a direct admit into the Tippie College of Business which meant having to reach different requirements than getting into the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. I am involved in many organizations on campus including, College Republicans, Society for Human Resource Management, Tippie Business Honor Society, and Turning Point USA. I strive to be successful both inside and outside of the classroom. What being successful means to me is setting high standard goals and then reaching those goals or learning from them if not reached. By taking initiative, remaining focused, and staying organized I can achieve the goals I have set for myself. I am an ambitious learner and always want to be involved. Not only do I like staying involved, but I will take what is asked of me to the next level. By being active with class, work, and organizations on campus I have learned a variety of transferable skills. These skills I am currently learning and have will allow me to adapt efficiently to any career setting I am in after college. My passion is working with others as I have great communication skills that allow me to adapt to other people who may be different than me. After graduation I plan on working full-time within a management position that consists of working with others to lead them to make our company the best it can be.
