About MacIe Snelson

After graduating in May of 2022 from Virginia Tech with a B.S. in Agribusiness and a B.A. in Spanish, I've continued my pursuit of knowledge and learning. Throughout college, I took a wide array of courses and held a number of jobs allowing myself to gain a well-rounded perspective of the world around me. From agricultural production on a berry and lavender farms, agritourism at a different local farm, to supervisory roles in at the farms and in Virginia Tech's Recreation Sports, skills such as strong leadership and communication, attention to detail, time management, and perseverance were honed. Upon graduation, I began a position with TechOpp Consulting, Inc. as a Research Analyst. In this position, am learn about a wide array of developing technologies while completing market research, contact searching, and developing deliverables for clients. Even though I am not currently working in agriculture, my passion lies within the agriculture industry and I am still advocating for conservation agricultural techniques, humane animal management, and technology advancement in the industry. I am passionate about feeding the world in sustainable and humane ways so that we can keep up with the growing population.
