About MacKenzie Campbell

I am an avid lover of the environment. Plants, animals, and being outside has always been a huge part of my life ever since I was a young girl. That love has translated into a desire for a career to help conserve the environment that has brought me so much joy. I strive to continue learning in every stage of my life. I am a state certified beekeeper, I have a certification in trapping through the state, and I volunteer in many environmentally centered ways in my community. I intend to help conserve the environment by considering all of the factors that go into maintaining the ecological balance of an ecosystem including pollinators and other smaller, less charismatic species. I have a particular interest in herpetology, with specific interest in geckos and smaller lizard species. Another area of the environment that holds my interest is coastal ecosystems and wetlands due to the vital role that they play in the environment.
