About MacKenzie Demars

I am a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist and Occupational Therapist Assistant with a strong passion for helping individuals regain mobility, independence, and confidence in their daily lives. Recently completing my OTA/PTA program at St. Clair College, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience through clinical placements, where I’ve supported a variety of evidence-based treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and modalities like ultrasound and electrical stimulation. I have gained knowledge in stroke and neuro-rehabilitation, where I’ve supported clients in restoring functional movement, improving motor control, and adapting to changes in physical ability with a patient-centered approach. I am committed to delivering care that is not only effective but also empathetic and personalized. With a strong foundation in anatomy, rehabilitation principles, and client-centered care, I strive to contribute meaningfully to every stage of the recovery journey. My goal is to grow within a collaborative healthcare environment while making a lasting, positive impact on those I support.
