About MacKenzie Devine

My current position is as an Ecological Support Technician with Biome Consulting Group, a UES company. I perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and assist in wetland delineations, protected tree surveys, and protected species surveys. I regularly utilize GIS to aid in preparing detailed, accurate reports for clients. Recently, I have become a Certified Environmental Health Professional in the Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems program and plan to aid Biome in providing septic tank site evaluations and permitting assistance for clients. I earned my Masters of Science in Environmental Science in December 2021 from the University of West Florida. I received undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science and Ecology/Evolutionary Biology from Piedmont University where I also participated as an NCAA Division 3 athlete in cross country and track. I have previous research experience at Piedmont University and with NASA's Student Airborne Research Program. My work experience includes solid/hazardous waste and wetland impact compliance and enforcement.
