About MacKenzie Fletcher

Proactive, naturally curious, and a skilled communicator, I am seeking a challenging position in my career in both fields of Accountancy and Finance/Economics. Through grad opportunities and jobs, I apply for I hope to discover more and learn what I like. I believe in learning by doing and therefore open to more opportunities rather than being selective. Key competencies I embody include self-driven motivation, adaptability to new environments, highly organised and a team focused individual. As a Monash student expected to graduate in 2020, I have completed a three-year degree in a Bachelor of Business Administration. I have explored a diverse range of financial aspects, growing both my knowledge and analytical skills in this area. My part-time experience as a junior bookkeeper has provided the opportunity to develop a meticulous and detail oriented approach and become a conscientious flexible team member. This position has reinforced my core values of a positive encouraging work environment and as a continuous learner. I have also benefited in the ability to work under pressure, a tailored customer focus and the simplification of improving tasks through efficient and effective strategies. In my time as a Monash student I found that it is important to be self-sufficient. In team projects, for instance an audit role-play sketch, it was vital that each team member was in control of their share of the work. Open communication created a co-operative structure built from mutual respect. I enjoyed participating and assisted in driving the project to a successful outcome. As a group we were resourceful and creative to come up with the most outstanding audit role-play of the unit.
