About MacKenzie McClain
Since I was young, I have always had a strong passion for math. I enjoy investigating each problem I encounter, knowing that every question has a definite answer. Accounting allows me to apply these skills every day as I constantly solve complex problems. My first work experience in the business world came from a high school co-op at BDO Dunwoody, where I gained valuable insights into both the theoretical and practical aspects of accounting. During this time, I had the opportunity to interact with clients and work with widely used accounting systems. After my co-op, I was offered a summer position, and I continue to work there during my summer breaks. I am currently enrolled at Lakehead University in the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program, with a major in accounting. Being in school has further solidified my enthusiasm for business, and I'm excited for what the future brings!
