About MacKenzie McClay
I'm an undergraduate student fascinated by the biological sciences and looking towards pursuing a future in genetic research and engineering. Although genetic engineering is widely feared by the general public, I believe the benefits it can contribute to not only our society but our planet as a whole greatly outweigh the (largely nonexistent) problems that some believe may arise through its application due to negative attention garnered from unethical business practices in the past. I am hoping to attend graduate school after my time at Warren Wilson College to help contribute to furthering the use of this science in general society.
