Background
About MacKenzie Miller
My name is Mackenzie Miller and I am currently working at the Passiac Public School District as a Special Education Teacher in the Autism Program. I graduated from Albright College in 2011 with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and Fashion Merchandising, where I continued my education and obtained my Masters in Special Education graduating with High Honors and a 3.9 GPA. My passion for teaching reaches beyond the many hours spent in the classroom with my experience as a youth adviser, coach, special needs volunteer and a member of Kappa Delta Pi Educational Honors Society as well as a two sport college athlete. I have worked primarily within low income and at risk school districts where I excelled in various areas of education and built relationships within the educational community at various levels. In 2018 I was honored to be a recipient of the Governor's Teacher of The Year Award representing Passaic and a nominee for the state wide award.
