About MacRae Smith

My name is Macrae Smith. I am from Dallas, Texas, and attend the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. In high school, I was very involved with my church, Highland Park United Methodist. During my time in the youth section of my church, I was a member of the CORE group where we mentored the younger members and traveled to different areas on mission trips. I obtained over 400 service hours helping my church and other communities in our world. I have also obtained great work experience through Bambino Sitters and The Ozone Bar. I am currently still available on Bambino Sitters where I ensure the safety, health, and welfare of multiple children ranging from ages 6 months old to 12 years old. I also maintain the schedule of daily transportation to and from school and activities and assist children with homework and school-related projects. During my time at the Ozone Bar, I provided exceptional customer service, leveraging extensive knowledge of products and services, and creating welcoming, positive experiences. I also logged call information, used a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs, and provided accurate information about products. My time in volunteer work and as an employee has helped to shape my communication and business skills greatly.
