About Macy Loftus
My teaching journey began when I ventured into Primary Ed at St Mary’s University in 2019. Since then, I’ve taught in several schools (primary, secondary and post-16 institutions) across Leeds, Bradford & Kirklees. Now with a focus on RE teaching in secondary and Post-16 schools, something I’m extremely passionate about. At only 23, I feel extremely blessed to be given an opportunity to teach children and help them along their learning journey; not just teaching them academic requirements, but also life-skills too. I’ve also just completed a Masters Degree at the University of Manchester in Educational Psychology (MEd), with a dissertation focusing on how religion can impact education. I look forward to continuing to gain experience in the teaching world and strengthening my role as a teacher. I’m always learning, and always eager to learn, something I aspire to replicate in my students!
