About Macy Robinson

Sustainability is more than a career for me; it is a passion and a purpose. I have been fascinated by the interplay of ecological, social, and economic systems since I was 15, when I led a hydroponic greenhouse project and microfarm at my high school. This inspired me to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems at North Carolina State University, where I also gained valuable servant-leadership experiences as a Caldwell Fellow.Currently, I am completing my Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), specializing in Sustainability and Development. Through my coursework and capstone project, I have developed expertise in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) analysis, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and program evaluation. I have also applied my skills and knowledge in various consulting roles, such as a Climate Science Consultant at the World Bank, a Student Consultant at the UNDP, and an ESG Assessment Reviewer at 3R Sustainability. In these roles, I have contributed to assessing and enhancing the sustainability performance of diverse entities, such as rural communities, food and agricultural systems, and real estate and infrastructure sectors. As I prepare to graduate in May 2024, I am eager to join a dynamic and innovative team that shares my vision of creating positive and lasting change in the world.
