About Madana Kumar

I am a lifelong student, practitioner, and evangelist of Servant Leadership, passionate about transforming organisations by integrating purpose, people, and performance. With more than four decades of experience in organisations such as UST, Bharti, HCL, and IBM, and as Founder and Chief Consultant of Leadyne Organisation Builders, I have dedicated my professional journey to helping leaders and organisations discover the power of human-centered leadership. My work combines research-based frameworks with real-world corporate insights to build cultures where people thrive and businesses succeed. I have developed a statistically validated, research-based 360° Leadership Assessment and the ARISE Coaching Model, both used extensively to strengthen leadership effectiveness and organisational culture. My clients include CxOs and senior leaders from leading NGOs, universities, and corporates such as UST, EY, Hyundai, H&R Block, ESAF Bank, CGI, Allianz, and Dorf Ketal, among others. As a faculty development resource at leading universities, I regularly teach, mentor, and equip educators to nurture the next generation of leaders. I am also a speaker at various national and international forums, addressing themes like leadership transformation, emotional intelligence, organisational culture, and purpose-driven performance. I have authored numerous articles in national and international publications such as TD Magazine (USA), People Matters, and CIO Review. My book, “Not-So-With-YOU”, explores the principles of Servant Leadership and is used by individuals and organisations to transform leadership mindsets and culture. Recognised globally as Chief Learning Officer of the Year, Global CLO of the Year, and Talent Development Champion of the Year, I continue to help organisations build leadership frameworks that are data-driven, empathetic, and purpose-aligned. Through my work at UST and Leadyne, I aim to create workplaces where leaders serve, teams flourish, and organisations achieve enduring success.
