Hi, I’m Maddison Williams! I am a recent graduate with a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business. My academic journey into Business Analytics began during my studies in Public Policy, where I recognized the pivotal role of data in shaping effective and impactful policies. This realization has since fueled my aspirations to become a data analyst and leverage the power of data-driven decision-making. I’ve had the opportunity to apply this passion through two internships at Kaiser Permanente. As a Financial Analyst Intern in Summer 2024, I contributed to forecasting budget trends, analyzing complex datasets with Excel and Power BI, and creating an optimized scheduling system using linear programming. In my current role as a Graduate Underwriting Intern, I support the development of pricing strategies through data-driven risk evaluation and collaboration with cross-functional teams. These experiences have strengthened my interest in using analytics to support strategic decision-making in healthcare. I am enthusiastic about the prospect of utilizing data analytics as a transformative tool to drive positive change. My overarching ambition is to harness my skills and insights to contribute meaningfully to a future where data-driven decisions propel businesses and organizations toward greater efficiency, sustainability, and success. I’m now looking ahead to roles where I can apply my business analytics training, particularly in healthcare or policy-driven sectors, to solve complex problems and deliver actionable insights.
