About Maddy Bennett

I've settled into Sheffield and it feels like home, although my roots are firmly planted in Hertfordshire where I spent my childhood. Back then, I volunteered with CHIPs, a charity supporting children with special needs, as part of my Bronze and Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Awards. It was an enriching experience that stayed with me, leading me to continue helping out during university breaks. My journey into recruitment was a bit unexpected. While studying History at the University of Sheffield, I found myself lending a hand at Affecto, juggling part-time tasks like writing blogs and managing social media alongside bits of recruitment work. Now, I've been with Affecto as a Delivery Consultant for almost two years. What I enjoy most is the conversations I get to have with people, discussing their dream job, career aspirations and sharing market insights. I primarily focus on roles in Software, Product, Data,| AI | MI. If you're on the lookout for your next opportunity, feel free to drop me a message at maddy@affecto.co.uk. Let's chat!
