About Maddy Langemach

As a disaster response manager for Heart to Heart International, a healthcare non-profit providing emergency medical teams to disasters, I am passionate about providing ethical and sustainable recovery assistance and service to partners worldwide. With over five years of experience responding to disasters both domestically and internationally, I have deployed to over 45 disasters and gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced in disaster response. With a bachelor's degree in emergency and disaster management and a minor in interactive digital media, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively communicate and leverage technology in disaster response. Additionally, I have recently completed certificate of advanced study in Water Sanitation and Hygiene in disaster emergencies and developing contexts. I am dedicated to promoting community resilience through effective and sustainable disaster response, and I am committed to sharing my experience and expertise with others in the field.
