Provides legal advice and assistance to support the Director-General's role as WTO Depositary, as well as to Members on their treaty instruments, and to Secretariat colleagues on any draft treaties and memoranda of understanding- Conducts legal research in the form of memos, presentations or reports in an efficient way, with regard to treaty law interpretation, depositary matters, and subjects of a politically-sensitive nature (for example overseas territories and double representation issues)- Corresponds with other international organisation depositary teams to assure the WTO is following general UN practice with regard to treaty law/depositary matters- Maintains up-to-date electronic and physical records of WTO treaty instruments and related documents, as well as memoranda of understanding- Supervises the registration of WTO treaty instruments with the United Nations- Works on dispute settlement panels and arbitrations by contributing to legal research, compiling and organising information, and drafting sections of the reports- Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (ECDL expert certificate), as well as proof-reading and legal editing. English (mother tongue), French (fluent), German (advanced), and Spanish (beginner).
