I recently supported the Curriculum Design Student Panel and am an active business group member at the Open University. I am particularly interested in working in the payroll environment due to its dynamic nature and the various laws that govern it. Over the years, I have learned that payroll is philosophical and involves criticism, evaluation, and defence of the industry's values. As someone who enjoys philosophy and history, I have interrelated these concepts with payroll management practices to determine trends and patterns. My approach to payroll management is always to seek knowledge by searching for underlying facts to issues and fixing them leanly. This has allowed me to bridge gaps and invent problem-solving solutions through my snapshots of historical events. The mathematical logic of payroll is another intriguing concept that cannot be merged into a single solution. It is complex and dynamic, governed by jurisdictional laws and rules. Interestingly, payroll is a solid political and ethical subject that empowers people to work for forty-plus years in a quest for success. Culture, structures, systems, and people play a massive role in our societies.
