Why did the chicken cross the road? Endless opportunities, of course. As a young professional in the marketing and advertising industry, I like to keep my outlook and mindset as open-ended as that timeless joke. Relentlessly seeking opportunities for my clients, their brands, my company, my team, and myself is a passion that I keep top of mind every day as an Account Executive. While I am only at the beginning of my career, I strive to create and foster partnerships and relationships that will last a lifetime (or at least until my retirement). I believe that strong, honest communication is the secret ingredient in every great relationship and the top trait of a moral character. Second, to powerful communication, unwavering determination is a key skill to embody."Where there's a will, there's a way. to execute" is a quote that (I think) every marketing professional should consider as a tattoo, or a lifeline, because those are words to live by. My purpose in my role is to flourish-regardless of the pace or the challenges that may appear along the way. Finally, I've already shared a joke and a quote, so I'll end with a lyric from one of my favorite songs;"If you want to make the world a better place. Take a look at yourself, then make a change." Self-awareness is a universal characteristic, but the ability to effectively understand, grow, then reflect on one's strengths, weaknesses, choices, and actions is a learned skill. As a marketing professional, I strive to be that reflective change for the people I work for, the consumer that those brands reach, the people I work with, and for myself. Graduate of the University of Kentucky in May 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Strategic Communication, specializing in Public Relations.
