I aspire to be a high school biology teacher and ignite a love for science and learning in my future students. I am a student at National University earning my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Biological Sciences as well as earning a Master's of Education in Inspired Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in STEAM/STEM. Attending UC Santa Cruz for my Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology allowed me to have some amazing opportunities, like working on an independent research project that I presented at UCSC’s STEM Diversity Research Symposium.
