I’m a results-driven legal and business professional with a unique dual background—holding both a JD and MBA—and a proven record of success across healthcare, employment law, and global compliance. My career began in healthcare administration, where I led operational and regulatory initiatives for a multi-state nursing home portfolio across seven states. Rising through leadership roles as VP of HR, Compliance Officer, and General Counsel, I became a trusted executive advisor to the C-suite. I developed and implemented policies to ensure compliance with HIPAA, Stark Law, abuse and fraud prevention standards, and state-specific employment regulations. I also oversaw litigation and managed corporate insurance coverage, ensuring risk mitigation across all business units. Currently, I serve as US Counsel for a global Employer of Record (EOR) company, where I advise on nationwide employment issues with a focus on complex jurisdictions like California and Colorado. I collaborate closely with our global Compliance Team on initiatives involving GDPR, international data privacy, AI governance, compliance mapping, insurance, and geopolitical issues including Russian sanctions. I’ve led and advised on comprehensive audits and global restructures, reinforcing my ability to navigate large scale projects with strategic precision.
